Publish article calling out the first story's BS, and get those on the other side of the political aisle eating it up. Profit! EDIT: fixed "aisle" thanks to @imsufferableninja@sh.itjust.works. I know that's the correct word, but I dunno why I didn't think of it when writing this initially. I think my brain's slowly turning to mush as I age. sigh permalink fedilink source parent hideshow 3 child comments replies: [–] imsufferableninja@sh.itjust.works 5 points 1 year ago (1 child) Aisle permalink fedilink source parent hideshow 1 child comment replies: [+] TheBat@lemmy.world 6 points 1 year ago* (last edited 6 months ago) [deleted] permalink fedilink source parent [–] TheEighthDoctor@lemmy.zip 2 points 1 year ago Great strategy for when consequences are none permalink fedilink source parent [–] AZX3RIC@lemmy.world 12 points 1 year ago (1 child) Agreed. We've turned into the headline mattering more than the content. Facebook, Reddit, Twitter, Lemmy, etc., there's comments everywhere "did you even read the article?" We're looking for the fastest confirmation bias and it's easy when it's the title. Fox News and OAN will run with the transgender headline and be quiet at the redaction, the damage is done. What people are slow to realize is how well the Trump administration is playing this game. The headlines about Trump suing over the 2020 election is all they wanted, people tend to give validity to something that's at the courts, regardless of the verdict. permalink fedilink source parent hideshow 1 child comment replies: [–] atomicbocks@sh.itjust.works 2 points 1 year ago This song is 21 years old… permalink fedilink source parent
