Lol. Didn't know it works that way!

I always assumed that Roberts-Smith is ordered to pay costs and then he would have to go grovelling to Stokes to pay it for him.

Appears the court registrar cut out the middleman and went straight to Stokes.
"You made the bet, you lost so now you have to pay up!"
