Right now it's either accept: Maybe I don't want to take the call now, or (more commonly), it's unidentified / a scam call decline: It might come across as rude in professional or interpersonal settings, or (more commonly) it will identify my line as being active to the scammers What I want is an option to send it to the background, so that it can continue ringing out, while I continue with what I was doing. I'm on android, but I guess this is a problem for iOS too permalink fedilink source parent hideshow 2 child comments replies: [–] LeFrog@discuss.tchncs.de 3 points 1 year ago* (1 child) On my Android phone I just have to press any volume button (up or down) so it gets silent but the call is not declined permalink fedilink source parent hideshow 2 child comments replies: [–] thejoker954@lemmy.world 3 points 1 year ago (1 child) Yeah, but if you are doing anything with audio you are shit outta luck. Either have to decline (which you might not wanna do for various reasons) or wait for the call to end. Frankly the 'do not disturb' option should work like that where calls don't override, but doesn't. permalink fedilink source parent hideshow 2 child comments replies: [–] LeFrog@discuss.tchncs.de 1 point 1 year ago I see, yeah that is a difficult one permalink fedilink source parent
