    The context of this is that I've had one chaser in my replies and DMs after making a single post on blahaj with my blahaj alt, and I had someone accuse me of be transphobic for saying I didn't feel comfortable being in a space with chasers

    that was just unbelievable to watch unfold- I respect you for at least trying to be there in good faith and that behavior is completely unacceptable. It's because of exactly that behavior that I've avoided those kinds of spaces and it's been really disappointing to see it getting enabled by moderator inaction.

    Yeah when I read that message in the thread I just immediately closed blahaj because it was just so incredibly disengenuous that I didn't want to continue engaging at all with it

    i wasnt particularly surprised that it went the way it did, lib trans folks always like splitting with the majority of the community. tbh im more surprised that Ada didnt snap and just go for a purge of chasers, its what i feel 95% of trans people would do. not banning obvious transphobes and just scolding them really is bewildering
