Voting third party is just voting for Trump. Dems have to be suborned from the inside.

    You can either get in through primaries and take control from within, or you can build a new grass roots party from local elections across the country and build it up over decades, or you can lose.

    You cannot. Both parties are bought and controlled by oligarchs, they will never allow themselves to be voted out.

    I looked up PSL. Even if I entertained communism for a single second, they aren't going to hold any office, much less national office, for several lifetimes. That's not a realistic answer, though I'm sure you are passionate in your idealism. My approach is to pick the most left-leaning party that can actually win, vote for the most left leaning candidate in their primary that can actually win, and then vote that party in the general.

    Which is to say, if a communist ever wins an election, it'll be by running as a Democrat. Good luck, but I'll be honest, I hope never to see the day when communism is the sane choice in an election.

    And how is that going? The last Dem that was in office gleefully armed a genocide. There's nothing here to fix, the party is rotten to the core. You are never going to get an actual leftist anywhere in office, especially with the Democrats, because the establishment will do everything in their power to prevent it from happening. The Democrats are never going to allow progress to happen. Wake the fuck up.

    No, you wake the fuck up. News flash: if both Dems and Republicans are going to let Israel bomb Palestinians, not bombing Palestinians isn't on the ballot. You can just eliminate that as a point of consideration.

    Does that fucking suck? Yes.

    Do some people choose to throw away their vote by staying home or voting 3rd party over that? Yes.

    But the country is only going to pick one of those two. So unless you literally give not one single fuck about any other action either party might take, you are throwing away your vote.

    That's not me. I have things I care about. And bombing Palestinians is fucking awful but it's out of my control in that voting booth. So I vote on issues where my vote makes a difference.

    That's the fucking reality, and you're the one dreaming.

    Do you think there is some moral superiority in pissing away your own country while watching Palestinians burn anyway?

    Do you think there is a moral superiority in voting for a party that explicitly promised to continue arming a genocidal state? Do you think shaming anyone who refuses to vote for genocide makes you the moral superior? Do you really think the Democrats would have actually done a single thing to improve people's lives, not just in Gaza but in the US, and they wouldn't continue to uphold the status quo and continue to serve their capitalist overlords?

    The Dems were never going to fix anything. They don't give a fuck about poor people.
