I know this post is three years old, but I stumbled across it and had to comment.

I read this book when I was like 13 because it was one of the few books my parents allowed in the house (author was a ~~crazy~~ devout mormon like themselves). Completely forgot it existed until just now.

Pretty wild that all these years later I'm an ML lmao
