Hard to say since a lot of immigrants with legal status have been kidnapped and trafficked out of country.

Isn’t it a confession that he wittingly employs undocumented migrants and isn’t it illegal?

They stopped even trying to maintain that lie decades ago. 20 years ago the paper had an article with a local farmer vocally declaring “We can’t afford to hire legal migrant labor. Too much regulation. They make us provide toilets and pay minimum wage.”

I wasn’t surprised that farmers exploited migrants. I was surprised that it was so common that the farmer felt safe having his name and picture next to a quote in a regional newspaper declaring, “Of course I break federal laws.”

The ones with paperwork registered and such are much easier to find so I would be astounded if the illegal ones are over half of the deported. Most likely the illegal ones are a very small minority.

There was a big document leak just the other day from ICE that showed that 2/3 of the people they arrest or something like that have no criminal records.
