Hexbear has been getting a lot more attention and activity as of late, and while it is very fun to dunk on the new people posting on the site in bad faith, a post to appreciate the new good faith users contributing to the site seems like a great idea.

So, what new users do you appreciate, and what should other potential new users do to get the same reception?

Every time a user from another instance like @[email protected] comes here to ask us genuine good faith questions and is clearly intellectually curious and willing to learn, it warms my heart.

Thanks, and I appreciate everyone’s input! I wanted to give hexbear a chance because I didn’t want to shut out another perspective and find myself in an eco chamber (like my Reddit feed was), and I’ve already started to see things that help me understand concepts and have made me think about myself critically.
