I never said it was an either or? Do you think I, as a trans woman, am not completely horrified about this act?

    Good point, I misread that comment. So I edited my reply accordingly.

    This is a serious crime and they deserve to be punished accordingly. And no matter how dumb and hateful they, they're minors so a judge can't ignore their age and relevant law to set a sentence.
