This is like watching the movie instead of the book and being surprised you got a bad grade on the essay. You literally failed at the only thing you were supposed to do. If I put as much effort into my job as they do I'd have been fired months ago.

Either that or they are just not happy with the backlash and are using this as a scapegoat. Like playing the idiot when you get caught with cigarettes by your parents.
