IMHO it's much more important to find some sort of occupation that not only makes money, but that you actually enjoy doing long term, otherwise you're just going to get burnt out. And I can tell you from my own experience that no amount of money is worth that. Also, it doesn't matter WHAT you do, there's always going to be someone criticizing or hating on you, no matter how good you are. In fact, the better you are, the more hate you'll get.
