Then surely you'll respect the fact that George W sought to reduce the deficit just as Clinton did, correct?

You're right, he did make a lot of cuts to education, which helped to lead us to our current situation where people are denying basic science like germ theory and the earth being round. That's been a Republican goal for at least 4 decades.
