They are a bunch of communists that many others don't care for and pre-emptively disconnect from. Personally, I appreciate their perspective and generally am glad to see the discourse. permalink fedilink source parent hideshow 2 child comments replies: [–] dhaonna_aontaithe@midwest.social 2 points 1 year ago (1 child) Maybe, I am extremely new to Lemmy so I didn't know if that was a place, thing, or person. So are/is hexbear a communist fourm, or a communist group? permalink fedilink source parent hideshow 2 child comments replies: [–] synae@lemmy.sdf.org 3 points 1 year ago (1 child) As far as I know, hexbear.net is a similar Lemmy instance same as midwest.social (yours) or lemmy.sdf.org (mine). Hexbear has a general focus of communism -- though that feels very reductive and I don't mean leave it at that, I just don't have the skill or care to do any better. Due to various groups (instances) politics, they are often disconnected-from (defederated). I don't know if I did a good or bad job explaining this cuz I'm a little drunk, but I hope it's been at least a little bit helpful permalink fedilink source parent hideshow 2 child comments replies: [–] dhaonna_aontaithe@midwest.social 1 point 1 year ago Seems like you did a pretty good job, that makes sense.
