I guess to be fair I was never really a stickler for any particular method; I’m just a lot more open to a lot of them.
Not in a material way, unless the non-republican rule was also anti-imperialist and broke away America's role as world hegemon, because otherwise the US will continue to support their Zionist dogs as a means to maintain imperialist hegemony.
