Americans, like every demographic, are not a monolith. This is not my own logic.

    They sure treat everyone else as a monolith. It's just their own logic applied back to them dude.

    What an incredibly ironic statement. Some Americans treat other cultures as monoliths, so it's fine to do the same to ours? Do you not get that that offers everyone justification to treat your culture as a monolith?
