The angry man can be seen confronting the vegan campaigners, who held up screens showing animal slaughter and used the megaphones to get their point across to shoppers.

One man took direct action against the protesters, grabbing a loudhailer from an activist named Ella Wild and breaking it on the ground before walking away.

Ms Wild posted a video of the incident on her Instagram, calling the shopper who retaliated "an angry customer".

Most of the commenters sided with the shopper, with one saying: "Good man glad someone done it".

You pay people to murder animals so you can feast on their dead flesh. And you're only getting a megaphone warning. Seems like meat eaters deserve even worse.

    I don't mean that. I'm just saying one should be thankful vegans are friendly and not dangerous.

    The person I replied to implied that the vegans that are protesting should get even worse treatment.

    And people are celebrating that selfish and evil opinion.

    All I implied was if you take a megaphone to a shop and abuse random people, you get what you deserve. You were the one that equated "get what you deserve" to be " get even worse treatment" which I'm going to take as " deserve worse than death" which I may be wrong, but I don't think I am this time.

    There are consequences to actions, currently there's a shit load of people who think they can do what they want and not face any consequences, then when consequences come for them, they go online and cry.

    Yes and if the roles are switched and those consequences are done upon people because of their selfish desire for dead flesh, you would be ok with that?

    If they were standing in supermarket with a megaphone screaming abuse at random people, then yes.

    It was the action they did I have an issue with, not the message.

    Animals are dying because of meat eaters that are fucking around. And now some of them are finding out and still, they get shit on.

    Get over it. Just walk away if a megaphone annoys you. It's a protest.
