The DOJ has enforcement mechanisms, but that's controlled by Trump directly. There's also the big play where the military upholds its duty to the constitution, like they're sworn, and not the president. Trump has put in some work to make sure they side with him, but I still suspect it isn't enough if he tries to blatantly subvert the constitution. permalink fedilink source parent
