Edit 2: 196 IS NOW (partly for now due to federation issues) UNLOCKED https://lemmy.world/post/24481114 but of course under the same moderators even tho many people r insisting that they shouldnt be trusted after all that happened, I'd personally keep using this alternative comm for now

They knew no one was going to follow them, which is why they closed the one on blahaj. I guess they thought that if they didn't give people a choice...? But users always have a choice.

Right, and especially on the fediverse (which is why them talking about those who didn't follow them being the ones to "fracture" it was so hysterical😂)
