People think it is a must have, but at some point I postponed getting office until I really needed, and use libreoffice meanwhile. It's been years, and I still only have libreoffice installed.

    I don't have any office apps installed on my personal computers, and haven't needed them in at least 6 years. Office apps are for office work, and I'm definitely not doing that for free on my own time and equipment.
