I've got a superman trilogy in my head that I wish I had money for and have posted the plot details many times here, I gotta go to bed soon so won't be re writing it here but I fuckimg know the character good and superman wouldn't break out of handcuffs he voluntarily put himself in unless a greater threat than those who cuffed him emerged. He would say something prior to being cuffed like 'gentleman, do you think this is really necessary? Or useful? Once people see a picture of me in cuffed they're going to think it's someone else or why wouldn't I just break them? How about I just keep my hands behind my head?'
