The move comes as the expo faces mounting concerns that construction, especially of pavilions for foreign nations, will not be completed on time for the scheduled opening in April 2025.

This expo is a mess no one in Osaka is all that interested in and also, the mascot for it, Myaku-Myaku, is a Lovecraftian horror.

    Who the hell signed off on that? It looks like something a preschooler would draw and not in a cute way.

    Now imagine that thing everywhere, including on multiple poster-sized digital ads in the subway stations and even on the fricking manhole covers.
