Catholics: "The end does not justify the means. Condemnation of an innocent person cannot be justified as a means of saving the nation." (Catechism of the Catholic Church §1753). Meanwhile, their god says: "I should sacrifice my innocent son to save humanity from myself".

The scriptures are not univocal, not inerrant, not divinely inspired.

These remain the academic consensus and what is taught in seminary, which is to say ministers deliberately lie to the laity.
