It is everything I have wanted from a city builder: Proper scale, gridless construction, intricate resource and production chains, and decent RTS combat to boot with a sort of total war lite system. I especially love the fact you can go into third person (though you will take a framerate hit and the controls are a little floaty) and walk around on the ground as the lord.
