Been doodling but not posting. A couple of small generic maps for practice

Ended up noisier than I would have liked. This scale is harder to balance detail vs useability

Another tiny strip of paper, for filling up odd gaps in a city:

Didn't know what to do with this tiny scrap of paper until I figured this could fill in many gaps in a cementery layout:

I'd gotten used to gel pens and then whoever gets the office supplies bought different kind of pens, and... I'm not a fan (see this post).

So I bought new pens... but I decided to buy two different point sizes (0.5mm and 0.7mm). I think it shows on this map. I like it.

You see all those professional cartographers and illustrators using pens with 10 different point sizes... now I know why.

After struggling with pine forests, I decided to leave this as-is.

I’m still unsatisfied with the “mass of trees”. Seems like individual trees is the way to go. At least for my own drawing skills.
