Now we’re getting somewhere you’re right: DuckDuckGo and Wikipedia are good. I’m also a fan of asking AI chatbots, as you mentioned Claude and ChatGPT, when you want to get popular opinions on the internet without crawling through Reddit and Twitter for them and getting to the same results.

Try asking Grok for information and conversate in the form of saving if you ask for something and the chatbot flags it as not appropriate.

Yes, I mean pretty much everything, as I mentioned in the post. Whenever I’m trying to find a solution to a problem, I usually search for it myself first. But, as you probably already know, searching doesn’t always give you exactly what you’re looking for.

Then I usually try asking around on Discord, IRC, Matrix, and other communities. Most of the time it’s disappointing and I don’t get anything particularly useful, but sometimes we actually hit the mark and find exactly what I was looking for.

So I figured you might know some other methods, sites, communities, or tricks for finding things on the internet that I haven’t come across yet.
