Whenever there is talk about atv upgrades, the threads are full of people talking about crazy decoding and hdrs and dolby atomics and whatever the hell features. I must be the only person who has an old 1080 TV (11 years) that mostly just streams regular shows.

I even have a plex server I play from on my AppleTV for ethically sourced movies and TV, but I don't care about anything really other than "does it look weird or super pixelated".
