I disagree, let's say Netflix looses 50% Canadian Market or McDonals looses half the customers as a direct result of boycotting. They won't want to affect policy change, it won't affect their bottom lines? What If people from other countries follow the example? That would also spur now investment into domestic market to spur new companies to replace those services . Loblaws and the likes started shutting their pants when Loblaws out of control Sub made news.

I'd rather do something than just talk on an online forum.

I do believe provinces should have more control over immigration ( from outside Canada, not interprovincial). Every thing else on that referendum is junk. Then again the way even immigration control question is, it could mean interprovincial migration or simply a province to say we will only allow certain race in.

SO NO to everything on that referendum.

You can! You already have Windows, so your dual boot would be fine. Grab a easy to use Linux Distro like Mint or Ubuntu and just install, it will keep you existing Windows install as is and install linux on the side. However, If you install Linux first and then Windows you have to restore you grub etc. because Windows being Windows will destroy your dual boot setup.

But in your case you have Windows already so you will be fine!

Democracy has been dead a while ago. It's a just new type of Kings and Queens. The need of the hour is to take money out of politics! But who going to do it, certainly not the politicians and people don't have any power. They elect on empty promises and then next and then next and cycle continuous. Corruption has become mainstream and overt now!

I am just amazed there is no law or lack of enforcement for this kind of shit. This should not allowed in a civil society. Free speech is one thing advocating murder is another.
