Yeah a torrent is a good idea actually because the content is never expected to change. And depending on the folder strucutre, people could just seed a subset of communities to save space, so maybe only the communities they're interested in.

How much space does the whole archive take up? I could spare a few TB on my NAS but I suspect it may be more than single digit TBs?
