Brazil is missing some talent in the midfield and sidebacks though.

Heavily disagree on this. Douglas Luiz, Bruno Guimarães, André, and Lucas Paqueta off the top of my head should be good enough

Absolutely false. Messi being the greatest is very reasonable, he is for me. But the most influential is by far Pelé for how he globalized and pioneered the game, or Cruyff if you want to look at tactics and managing.

He's not 4th choice in any reality unless he keeps warming the bench until the summer. He's 2nd choice now and would realistically still be there in January when we can sell

Unfair red card affected the game but even before that Brazil couldn't finish anything and when that happens, a set piece goal is all it takes.
