you're still assuming good faith. stop it. they're not interested in developing a well-rounded worldview and a rational approach to solving the problems that face America. They're interested in seizing as much power as possible and hurting their opponents as much as possible. Once you realize that, their actions start to make perfect sense. Acting like Joe Biden is the only politician with a problem child serves that end. Ignoring Don Jr's obvious coke and booze habit serves that end. There is no guiding philosophy to them, no principles they serve, no basis of human decency in which they even pretend to embed themselves.
