If for nobody else, this is atleast a very big deal for Cubans! Apklis is like the app store for Cubans (I felt like I was going crazy, it was really hard to find any info about it on English Google) and any demonopolizing practices are a huge deal for it's usability. If it's able to do automatic updates like Google Play then it'll become that much more usable for native Cubans.
