“We have asked Ambassador Guilfoyle to resign,” Zacharia said when a reporter asked about Trump’s comments on Monday that he is considering firing her. “She has been a wonderful asset to the team, and we wish her well.”

Citing Signal messages, the paper reported that in July 2025, days before her Senate confirmation hearing, Guilfoyle pressed Deters to pay off a $100,000 American Express bill, assuring him the transfer would not show up anywhere. “Honey please I need you to get this done for me today,” she wrote, according to the report.

Guilfoyle offered to use her influence on his tax and legal problems in return and told him she had contacted the IRS commissioner and the justice department on his behalf.

He has also said he paid Guilfoyle about $300,000 over the years without receiving “one favor”, and told MS Now the request “absolutely was a quid pro quo”.

Imagine having on your resume that you're too dumb to hold on to a bogus job you were given because you're too dumb to be Don Jr's girlfriend because you're too dumb to be Gavin Newsom's wife...

First 300k: this is just an investment and I won't report this because I want favors

Next 100k: wow I'm getting ripped off so I'm going to report this to get my money back.

Had she actually delivered anything, would we have learned about these events? If a rep for Greece is taking bribes of 400k, how many other bribes are we not aware of right now facilitated by people with half a brain to other appointees in this administration. Obviously the one at the top sets the bar which is what a little over 2 billion? I hope the Dems have a spine and investigate, accuse, and convict these grifters.

Your hope is misplaced. Dems are also corrupt and afraid of it being turned on them next time. I'm hoping the people force them to act, at least with them there's a chance to get them to do the right thing.

Well my Republican bingo card indicated it had to be pedophilia, rape, or corruption. Guess it was corruption this time.
