Nice sci-fi from Anthropic AI-cultists. It seems they really want everyone to believe they have the power to fuck things up for the rest of the humanity.

Of course (since they’re all e/acc cultists) they believe it’s their little machine god doing this on its own, but LLMs only generate tokens while the GPUs running them keep computing. And that without generating the next token, nothing happens. And that if the harness doesn't parse the tool call in those tokens and call a tool, nothing happens again.

So in fact what they’re saying is that they can fuck things up for the rest of us if they want to. And they really want to.

These people should be treated as any other terror group threatening our lives and democracy.
