Agents surrounded the man and child in his car before firing multiple rounds, according to Zohran Mamdani

A US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agent shot a man in New York City on Thursday afternoon, according to the city’s mayor, Zohran Mamdani.

Early reports indicated that agents had surrounded the man and a five-year-old child in his car before firing multiple rounds, the mayor said in a statement on Thursday evening. The child was physically unharmed, according to Mamdani.

The individual who was shot was conscious and taken to a hospital, the NYPD said in a brief statement.

Why can't NYPD arrest him for attempted murder?

I noticed a ton of agents in the city this week. They've been all over the bridges stopping every POC truck driver and creating havoc on the roads. The numbers really went down since mamdani got elected and its weird to see them all over again. Fear on every road. Fear on every corner. These imported hillbillies get to dictate a new order of laws here. The soup kitchen line near me had no one this week. I just put two and two together as to why.
