In switzerland they had a referendum to make Nestlé obey swiss environmental/social laws abroad… and… after mass propaganda from all the big companies this would affect. The population voted no. Fucking bleak.

    Same with Coca-Cola and others. They get it for free from local governments the world over and then charge for it, whether it just be bottled as is or something made using it.

    And yet those governments still get (re-)elected...
