[–] Xyre@lemmus.org 3 points 2 days ago* (3 children) How does vibe-coding an app equate to a clean-room implementation? permalink fedilink source hideshow 3 child comments replies: [–] TragicNotCute@lemmy.world 1 point 2 days ago* (2 children) It’s a clean room port because presumably they didn’t decompile or have access to the code. Edit: From the site: Clean-room: implemented from public specs and observed behaviour only. No proprietary code, shaders or assets. permalink fedilink source parent hideshow 2 child comments replies: [–] Xyre@lemmus.org 3 points 2 days ago (1 child) Right, but unless you can prove the provenance of the training data for the model it violates the spirit of clean-room design no? permalink fedilink source parent hideshow 1 child comment replies: [–] okwhateverdude@lemmy.world 3 points 2 days ago If it trained on the leaked sources, you're correct. More likely is that there are already many open source tools that mimic adobe's tools already. So the request could be for photoshop feature X, but you get laundered GIMP for X instead. permalink fedilink source parent
