I hypothesize that the crow was waiting for an opportunity to pull the rabbit's tail...

    Nah, that rabbit was not pleased. Those little abrupt hops are aggression-- each a little "wtf!" Corvid was definitely fuckin with it trying to pull its tail. Rabbit could probably do quite a bit of damage to the bird so it isn't really scared.
