Rules

Descriptive Titles – State what is shown or reported. Critical language is fine, but describe the event accurately. ❌ "Another day of Zionist terror" → ✅ "Settlers attack Palestinian village near Nablus, multiple injuries reported"
No Anti-Semitism – Criticism of Zionism, Israel, or its policies is welcome. Racist or genocidal language against Jews as a people is not. This is an anti-Zionist space, not an anti-Jewish one.
No Hate Speech or Incitement – Calls for violence against civilians are prohibited.
Amplification and Reposting – Many platforms censor this content. Members are encouraged to repost to other instances and platforms. The more places this is shared, the harder it is to ignore.

A graphic posted online compiles quotes from Israeli officials and public figures under the heading "Genocide is Defined as Intent to Destroy a Group." The quotes include: Nissim Vaturi: "Gaza and its people must be burned." May Golan: "I am personally proud of the ruins of Gaza." Isaac Herzog: "There are no innocent civilians in Gaza." Avi Dichter: "We will conquer Gaza and leave no living Palestinian." Daniella Weiss: "There will be no Arabs in the Gaza Strip." Giora Eiland: "Gaza will become a place where no human being can exist." Yoav Gallant: "We are fighting human animals." Bezalel Smotrich: "There is no such thing as Palestinian people."

He was famous for adding “Carthago delenda est” (Carthage must he destroyed) to the end if even unrelated political speeches. Other things mattered, too, but he reminded everybody in Rome that their first priority was to destroy their ancient enemy. I assume OP is likening this to that; Israeli politicians fixating past the point of reason on the destruction of their declared enemy.
