I think this is my biggest frustration with people who ask me what stocks I'm short to indicate that I think the "AI boom" is likely to fully destroy society. If I thought Biden was going to usher in a nuclear Armageddon, there's no way to indicate that to markets because any position I take only pays out if I believe there will be the global financial infrastructure to pay it out. The only position I could take is going long nuclear fallout shelters, and that's only if I think life in a bunker is superior to seeing the mushroom cloud myself while wearing a cowboy hat, drinking bourbon and listening to country and western, and saying quietly to no-one in particular "happy trails, partner." Plus who can afford enough land to build a proper shelter anyway?
