This fake text message website hasn't been updated for so long that there are people old enough to vote who weren't even born when text messages looked like this.

    Old smartphones used to break up long messages into individual ~160 character texts. There was at least some basis in reality, however flimsy

    But that's blue, so it was iMessage right? It wouldn't have had that limit iirc. If it got split up, it would have meant the other person couldn't receive iMessages and the bubble would have turned green.

    iMessage was never this color, but I'm pretty sure that message colors were themable by the time the 3GS was a thing, well before iMessage. (If jailbroken) Though all of this is just silliness meant to suspend disbelief for a very goofy fake message.
