That's a pretty low bar compared to real problems like food shortages and making places unlivable.

    It’s actually probably one of the least affected sports on the whole entire planet lol. Cycling…the thing that releases no CO2, can be done on dirt, can be done literally anywhere on the planet besides water (the locals in the DRC bike through the jungle). When literally every single part of society falls to pieces there will still be bicycles.

    What a wild title.

    NYT and wild titles are like peas and carrots. "Cycling" of course is much more than the UCI world tour, but NYT continues to frame the simple act of riding a bicycle as something of a niche hobby or professional sport. You're absolutely right that it will be the one constant through whatever climate hellscape is unfolding.

    Turning it into a premium only service probably didn't help either. We don't need pro sports, we need food and water.

    That's true. Only time I would watch cyling is for landscape. I love watching Rally also for the landscapes
