The better response for a teacher and an LLM is "that's an interesting question." It doesn't focus on if the question is good or not, but why the question is being asked, and what answer might be best. Even a stupid question can turn into a learning experience by exploring the question itself. Which is why there are no stupid questions, just the lack of understanding the better way to ask.
