Check out backmarket, I got my iPhone 12 for $400 there almost 2 years ago. I assume they’re even cheaper now.

11 Pro Max’s are around there now on the used and refurb market. Best bang for your buck honestly.

The iPhone 12 really is going to feel the most modern. OLED screen, dual camera system, 5G, and MagSafe.

The 11 Pro Max is a battery GOAT, but getting one for $300 might be tough.

Find a brand new iPhone 11, or just slightly increase budget to get a brand new SE3 in Apple store with education price.
