These are the 79% of Americans who oppose trans women in female sports

That's what made you think 80% of people are "irredeemable transphobes"?!

Buddy...

This is the entire reason the right makes such a big deal about literal single digit children

Stop fucking focusing on if less than a baseball team worth of student athletes should be the focus.

Acting like that position (which is he aily propagandized and most people are uninformed) makes someone an irredeemable transphobe is completely divorced from reality and once again: playing directly I to what the right wants

Stop letting them pick the battles, and frame the conversation around literally any other aspect of LGBT than children's sports. It is the least important issue facing people who are transitioning. And it only hurts the cause, especially when people keep squawking that anything less than 100% unquestioned support in every aspect makes you "irredeemable".

Last month, Queer Majority published an essay of mine titled “How to Fix What Ails Trans Activism.” It looked at where activists went wrong, charted the erosion of public support, and offered a philosophically liberal framework for how to reorient trans activism away from a zero-sum power struggle and toward a universalist vision centered around discussion, mutual respect, and winning hearts and minds.

Of course everyone wants a universalist vision centered around those things. Did that essay actually accomplish that?

This reminds me of a post I saw during pride month that said:

"Big tech never cared about queer people"

    The absurdity is incredible.
