Hello,

I'm trying to use Godot on Linux (CachyOS) for the first time but it keeps crashing on a specific point. There is no error message or anything, it just closes. I've been following this tutorial on Youtube: https://youtu.be/AdN27y_-UHA , at around 9 minutes it crashes every time.

I tried to record it: https://streamable.com/3fcbv8

I'm using Godot v4.7.1.stable.arch_linux [a13da4feb]

Has anyone an idea why this happens? thank youu

I'd download the version offered on the Godot website and see if that crashes as well.

oh that seems to be working, thank you! Didn't expect it to be different. :D

If you have the time you might want to report it as a bug to Arch or Cachy.

You can try forcing verbose mode and checking the logs

You can also launch it in a terminal, then you will see some crash info too iirc.
