lol I can’t wait to see how the DCCC/DNC establishment manages to fuck this up.

Honestly, this really is starting to look like the death of a political party.

I hope the GOP goes through a similar collapse/restructure (with or without a name change - an ideological shift away from fascism is what matters) where the less insane conservatives move away from their overtly authoritarian leadership… but honestly, my estimation of the average mental acuity, devotion to (small d) democracy, and antipathy towards fascism of conservatives isn’t really that generous. So who fucking knows, maybe they’ll just be overt fascists going forward? Idk.

But anyways, I’m loving that the Democratic base is shifting so wildly to the left. It’s a fantastic change. We’ll just have to see if the party itself can get out of its own way and stop scoring own-goals.

It's the power of sewer socialism. It's very different having a person/group talk a big game compared to people measurably increasing your standard of living. The DSA candidates have done an amazing job advertising their wins and taking full credit for them.

And even more do when one doesn't use the big, scary 'S' word, surely.

With this much momentum, maybe we could have enough interest to start a third party in the foreseeable future.
