What all even uses 900 MHz band anymore? I know house phones used to, but they are all 2.4 GHz now. Depending on how populated the area is I wouldn't worry too much about the 900 MHz bands being overfull. That intersection you mentioned might be a problem though. The lack of line of sight is also an issue. t may be one of those situations where you have to try it to see if it would work or not. Depending on how much the antenna costs that may or may not be feasible.

If you don't have line of sight forget about it. Trying to run a ptp in a city with NLOS is going to be garbage
