Hey, I've been sitting here in the garage with the car running for hours and nothing's happening. The car's gone from 76% battery to 72%. Do I have to wait for it to go all the way to zero?

Do modern cars, even before EVs, have that issue? Isn't that the point of the catalytic converter?
