Jokes on Google, I used pre-Google YouTube when videos always buffered. Makes no difference to me.

Signed in to YouTube, Orion browser on iOS, ublock origin installed.

Shorts play routinely without fail, but ads are not suppressed. Long form videos initially load black but refreshing right after page load makes the video play. No ads are shown in long form videos.

Every time mine breaks, I just clear the adblock cache and everything works again perfectly

On my devices, with vpn and Adblockers, all I get is "sign in to view" so I haven’t seen anything on YouTube in months.
