why do people still use expensive phones without a case? why?
Apple
A place for Apple news, rumors, and discussions.
If you have Applecare it might be covered depending on what policy you bought. If not, pretty sure you're stuck with it
Quickly buy Apple care + wait a few days and go to Apple!
Ya that sucks not gonna lie. Put a case on it, it still should work
If you have apple care then take it to the apple store. If you don’t have apple care, then purchase it from your phone and then take it to the apple store.
Bruh
Never understood why people buy a $1000 phone but not use a $10 case.
Congrats, either fix it or live with it
$900 wasted
That's the price you pay when you choose to go caseless, you get used to it
Since you are assumingly within the 60 days of buying it, you can buy applecare right off the phone. Then go replace it for $29
iPhone 15 bruv max
Put it in a cup with rise over night
What now? Either fix it, or case it up.
Or sell it to someone, you obviously just bought it to show others that you can afford expensive items.
What do you mean what now? Get it fixed? Applecare? Use google to figure out how to fix your phone?
You can still get apple care plus
Yeah that could’ve been prevented with a case
Open the support app and find “back of iPhone is damaged”
Wow. No case.
I went with the 15 pro and I’ve dropped it three times since I got it and virtually no damage but I did put a case on it after I dropped it three times.
Nice. I had pizza today. It was good.
I hope you have insurance.
Congrats
Big oof
Get a case it'll be fine
just get a case its fine
Everyone who gets an iPhone 15 seems brutally careless
Cool. What do you want us to do with that information??
Do you turn it off and switch on?
try not to do same mistake for about 5 years and your phone will look like new compared to your enemies
Then why do the camera lens stick out without protection? I have a rokform rugged case and it feels great. I dropped the phone once and it didn’t get damaged.
Buy Applecare and get a replacement.
It kills me to see people going caseless with devices that costs €1000 or more, destroying them in less than a week time only to come here asking: “What now?”
Get it repaired and then start using a f*cking case! 😂
If you want to spend $0, throw a case on that and you’ll never notice the cracks. If you want to get it fixed, buy AppleCare+ first then maybe wait a day or two and book a repair. Say the crack happened after you bought AppleCare if they ask.
Why dont people PUT ON FUCKING CASES GODDAMNIT THIS IS WHAT HAPPENS YOU JUST SPENDT 1500 DOLLARS ON A REALLY GOOD PHONE AND YOU DON’T PROTECT IT
Sorry for my rant, prly see if you still have apple care, if not then just use a case and don’t put it in water
Also, even of you do have apple care, use a screen protector and case.
lmao
Reason why I have an Incipio Duo case on my iPhone 12. Will order Incipio Duo case for my upcoming iPhone 15 Plus.
Apple care ?
Apple care + - you don’t need it , until you really need it
Add me to list of people who don’t understand not having a case. For me it’s not about the cost of repair, as much as it is the increased usability (grip and slip protection) and not having to worry about having a broken phone (especially when traveling).
The case covering up the iPhone? Yeah, hey… look at me… I have something that literally a billion other people have!
Get a case!!!!!!
🍪
there are two ways to go with iphone
- case
- apple care
Sign up for AC+ on your phone under Settings and then make a claim. The end.
But ya you're going to have to pay $300-$400 to get the back glass repaired. Best thing to do is to slap a case on it to cover it up, pretend like it never happened, get a screen protector, and learn from your mistakes. You could also maybe sell it for $400 on marketplace and get a 14 for that price, if you're insecure about it.
Dont fix it, put a case on it (if possible not transparent) and the crack wont be visible and your phone is safe from future drops.
